The price of silver and what it means for Anillarte in 2026
Silver has gone up... a lot.
In recent months, the price of silver has skyrocketed in a way we haven't seen for years.
Those of us who work in handcrafted jewelry have noticed it fully: the raw materials we use every day have become expensive quickly and considerably .
At Anillarte, silver is the basis of almost all my work, so this change directly affects the cost of producing each piece.
It's not a labor cost increase
I want to clarify this with complete transparency:
My work, my hours, and my processes are not increasing.
What has changed is the cost of the metal , and that makes maintaining current prices no longer viable.
I don't like sudden or unjustified increases, so I waited and considered all the options before making this decision.
Starting in January, I will update prices.
With the arrival of the new year, I will adjust some prices to reflect the actual increase in the cost of silver.
These will be moderate, balanced changes, and I will always maintain my commitment to:
✔ Honest prices
✔ quality materials
✔ Handmade pieces, one by one
✔ Ethical and small-format production
I want this change to be understood for what it is:
a necessary adaptation to continue creating jewelry with the same quality as always.
Why is it important to tell this story?
Because you, who support artisanal work, have the right to know what's behind each piece.
My intention has always been to be transparent, to share my process and to make you part of this journey.
New developments: I will also start working in brass
To offer more accessible alternatives without sacrificing design or craftsmanship, in 2026 I will also begin creating pieces in brass .
Brass is durable, has a beautiful color, allows for spectacular details, and best of all, its price has not risen as much as silver.
This will allow me to offer a more economical line without compromising on quality or style.
Thank you for always being here.
Your support —by buying, sharing, commenting, or simply following my work— is what makes this project exist.
I will continue working with the same dedication as always: fire, metal, texture, patience and heart.
